I believe that this prologue is just a shortened version of the actual beginning of the movie. I think they edited it down a bit so it wasn't too long.
That being said, I would be completely fine with this as the exact beginning of the movie. It's very Nolan and very good.

Re: Interstellar's Soundtrack
If only one Oscar is given to this film, I want it to be the score. One of the best scores I've heard in quite some time.

Re: What is your interpretation of the ending? SPOILERS AHE
I liked the ending at first, and still do, but now feel they missed a golden opportunity. If only they ended the film with Coop reuniting with the elderly Murph on her deathbed and the final moment of the film being her tearily telling him "Dad, I love you.. forever", which she didn't tell him when...

I have a question regarding this movie. In my personal rating the only one movie I rate 10/10 is 2001: A space odyssey. Later there are 9/10 Gravity (I know this is not ordinary but I truly love this movie) The Master (2013) The Mission (1986) Hunger (2008) Pożegnania (1956) polish movie don't thin...

Yes. A couple times in which I could hear. There could have been more during the louder scenes without me hearing or realizing.CoRohr wrote:Without spoiling or explaining what:
Were there parts in the movie where the audience exacted to a scene? (i.e. Gasp, wow, etc)

Re: Interstellar General Film Discussion Thread

Between Romilly having to live on Endurance for that long and then Matthew watching the videos of Tom growing up along with Murph. It was one of the most unique and emotionally powerful ...
