Re: Arrival (2016)

Watched the film yesterday, gotta say I hated it. I think it's a horrible movie. And I firmly do believe it won't be nominated come Oscar season. I appreciate the direction of the film, I love the cinematography, music, and visual effects. But that's where the positives stop for me. Sicario was one...

Re: Dunkirk General Information

Certainly no modern filmmaker. Only Lean, Kurosawa, Kubrick, and maybe 70s/-90s Spielberg have him beat, and Nolan's not even 20 years into his career. This is honestly incredibly untrue. First, you have to define what "grand" film is, but regardless there's many, many filmmakers who've worked on a...

Re: Teaser/Trailer#1

Don't really know why Warner Bros. would do this. Release it into theaters and then release it officially a day later. Just doesn't make any sense. HD could easily convince me otherwise.

Anyway for me to download this thing?
Completely disagree with you. That's my favorite shot! Shows the visceral nature and scale of the film. The other shots didn't really do that.

Re: Dunkirk Fan Art Thread

These started out decent, but have went downhill fast. I could have put a world war 2 photo in the background, but I just find it aesthetically stupid to do that. That's now how movie poster look like. Saving Private Ryan never had a huge war scene on the poster. It was faces for the most part. And...

Re: Dunkirk Fan Art Thread

http://s1.postimg.org/h6r1kj0i7/DUNKIRK.jpg First poster I ever make. Hope you guys like it... #DynamoIsHere Great poster, but phrase "Dynamo is here" isn't correct for me due to the fact, that war epic drama is always tragic and brutal story, not for fun. As for me. Who said "Dynamo is here" means...
