Trailer next Thursday? The trailer for Tenet dropped the Thursday right before Skywalker started screening.

I don't see M:I 7 and Oppenheimer opening just a week apart like they're currently slated to.

Yeah, I guess it might be trailer only this time around. Could be due to Universal being unable to obtain a 6 minute slot and Disney not willing to play ball. Maybe there'll be a Prologue or extended look in front of something else next year (Fast X would be most likely, as that's a Universal movie).

If it's happening we should get news soon.

I doubt that Avatar's runtime will stop the Prologue from happening. Avengers: Endgame in IMAX had an extended preview for Godzilla KOTM, and the 1st Hobbit in IMAX had an extended Star Trek Into Darkness preview.

Trailer was so cool in the theater, really the leak doesn't do it justice. It playing directly before the start of the movie reminded me of the old days.

So if I booked a regular screening of Nope at AMC, the trailer should be there? Won't be IMAX exclusive right?

The teaser is evidently baked into the actual movie DCP, so more than likely yes.

The Halloween Kills trailer also leaked last year because Universal sent it as a unlocked file. Encrypted trailer files seems to be a WB thing (they did that with previous Nolan teasers). If Universal does send an Oppenheimer teaser, it'll be very last minute, maybe hours before Nope starts screening.

Nope is from Universal, who's distributing Oppenheimer. However Bullet Train is out in early August, which is when the Dunkirk and Tenet teasers dropped, so it could go either way.

Nope DCPs should be sent out in the coming days. So we'll know soon if we're getting a teaser.
