Re: Marion Cotillard cast in TDKR?
I get the feeling some of you didn't even read it... Collider is reporting something from the second largest newspaper in the country, as has already been pointed out. This seems much more "legit" than a lot of the other rumors out there. Also, Cotillard was actually one of my favorite parts of the ...

Re: JGL IN TALKS FOR TDKR
James McAvoy is a great actor James McAvoy overacts. And he looks so goddamn goofy. His American accent sounds like he's overdoing way too much; he almost sounds like Ronald McDonald or something. Just keep him away from me and I'll be fine. Hate, hate, hate him as an actor. Have you seen him in Th...

Re: X-Men: First Class (2011)
I don't see why you'd have a problem with that. That's not my point. My point this entire time has been that the X-Men franchise as a whole is an incoherent mess. It has three coherent films, a prequel that takes liberties, another half-prequel apparently, and as of next year a reboot that uses the...

Re: X-Men: First Class (2011)
Of course they care about the character from the last movie... that's why they're going to see the CURRENT movie lol. And I'm trying to say that the continuity between movies is important; talli just can't seem to figure that out. Then what about Casino Royale, is that messy? First Class is self-aw...

Re: Name Your Fave Film From Each of These Directors
I think somebody needs to clear up exactly what level of facetiousness this discussion is having, haha.

Re: X-Men: First Class (2011)
you really have no argument, sorry..neither does crazy eight....none of what you guys speak of is continuity...its character development We started talking about character development because you started to say that audience members don't give a shit about the characters. The conversation evolved, ...

Re: X-Men: First Class (2011)
I don't see the reason for peoples complaints. The trilogy of films is basically one whole, then there's a spinoff with some continuation problems, This is being made to have some issues with continuity but Vaughn's said they've openly taken some liberties for reason of making a fine picture. First ...

Re: What's everybody's top 25 films of all time?
I was just reading through this again and I'm shocked Braveheart is featured so often. It's a fine film, but I always thought it was fairly superficial with paperthin character.
Absolutely gorgeous blu ray though.
