Re: USA's Mr. Robot
Well, I feared Esmail wasn't going to deliver on that particular aspect, although I kept thinking that White Rose was telling the truth. So glad he had the balls to do it.

Re: USA's Mr. Robot
Astonishing to see the seeming lack of interest of this community in the show, Esmail just dropped a huge bomb in the penultimate episode and keeps smashing it every single episode, there are few shows out there better than this, incredible.

Re: HBO's Watchmen
They did it. They really, actually did it... Been following this show since it was announced with high hopes as both a Watchmen and Lindelof fan, and it truly delivered something bold, meaningful, and distinct in a Last Jedi-esque manner (though it was certainly even bolder and weirder than TLJ). A...

He was never going to do itMaster Virgo wrote: ↑December 16th, 2019, 9:55 pmHere I was thinking that I'm not going to see better TV than Chernobyl in at least a few years.
Still bugs me that Redford never made a cameo in this though. He was even listed on Wikipedia as a member of the cast for a good long while.

Re: Six Underground (2019)
Bay UNLEASHED, supremely dumb, over the top, melodramatic but also a total blast, never change Bay. The Hong Kong portion is a favorite, especially the Parkour scene. By the way, WOW does the Venice section look videoey, I was just shocked by that, clipped highlights, hyper real, kinda felt like Pub...

Re: HBO's Watchmen
Westworld S1, I'd say the money is on the screen and a lot of location work too. I'm sure there's a ton of regular VFX work on Watchmen but how?

Re: HBO's Watchmen
That's really hard to believe. If true, the money is not on the screen frankly. This doesn't look like a show that has $15 million plus per episode. And usually these days, most shows with giant budgets, you can see it in the production values. Or is it more of a situation where some episodes have a...

Re: HBO's Watchmen
DC is the way to go indeed, Zack even said so. About the pupils, that's a mistake, he always had "white" eyes in the comics, I guess they chalked it up to him forgetting he still looks like Cal. I don't buy the budget excuse because my guess is they have serious coin on the show (6-8 million per epi...

Re: Antlers (2020)
Best trailer so far, really sweet to see Cooper stretching his range, looks really sick. Doesn't look ANYTHING like modern jump scare horror.
