Re: World's Finest (2015)
Of course it's going to be a celebrity brawl. Who expects a movie called (potentially) Batman vs. Superman (or vice versa) to have anything even vaguely resembling substance? Quality-wise, I'm sure it'll be right on par with King Kong vs. Godzilla, Freddy vs. Jason, Alien vs. Predator and other such...

I'm sure the industry will listen to the advice of a teenage geek.

Re: AVATAR sequels
Wow. So much Cameron/Avatar hate I hate what he's become. I truly believe him winning that Oscar ruined him. He took years off without making narrative movies, then returned with a movie so desperately wanting to please every demographic. See, what's why he could never ever make a True Lies today--...

Re: AVATAR sequels
Just curious... Do you think one of these sequels will smash the box office like the original did? I don't think it will outgross the first one. A film critic in my twitter feed tweeted this the other day: You know what actually does deserve an essay? How AVATAR, the most successful film in history...

Re: AVATAR 2 & 3
Avatar was such a blatant bore at the cinema. I was quite angry after watching the movie. I'm usually not a fan of the "It takes itself too seriously" complaint (it's been leveled at Nolan a lot) but man, Avatar has fewer jokes than Shoah . Would a little bit of levity hurt? It's an adventure movie...

Re: David Oyelowo & David Gyasi joined the cast
Speaking of Nolan's racism...
Am I the only one that think this moment in The Dark Knight is a little stereotypical?
Not all black people love fried chicken, Nolan. Jeez.

Well, what do you want? Spaceships battling it out? Meteors striking big cities?VulcanVader wrote:I hope so... 'cause right now the film lack certain things, like action. But I'm sure Nolan (Chris) is gonna improve it.
This isn't Armageddon.
Did you think Memento lacked car chases and shootouts too?
