Just seen it for the first time. Can't give a thorough review now, still under the influence of the film ;) Of course I was hugely entertained, the 164 minutes passed by in a second. Unfortunately I got the feeling this is rather a WB movie than a Nolan movie, since I believe Nolan wouldn't have ma...

Couple of new thoughts in reflecting on the movie. Alfred - I read Harry Knowles' review over at AICN, and I think he's off base on a lot of it, but one thing I thought he was off base about was Alfred, simply because his entire review seemed predicated on his knowledge of the characters through th...

I know.. my point was they did a better job with it on the version they put in front of the prologue. Being hidden is fine. Being completely unrecognizable (which it nearly is) kind of defeats the purpose. What's the differemce with hidden and unrecognizable? In both cases you don't see it. And was...

It's good, but I thought the bat symbol wasn't as evident as it was in the prologue screening. Small issue really. I think I still like the blue flame from TDK better.. but that's just me. That's the point, bat symbol was hidden in the darkness, deep under the ice. Anyway, nice article on all three...

I'd also add that the issue of time passage is not addressed. It seems quick but we don't know anything about the time period that's elapsed, and that was not an error, it was intentional by the filmmakers. One of the GCN newscasts said "Day XX" or whatever. Also, it's established in the scene wher...

To all the people bitching about "logic gaps"

I'm not talking about continuity errors because don't rememmber any. But it's true that every continuity has some set of 'rules' they have to respect. I won't bitch if Superman, for example, goes from India/Morocco to Gotham in five minutes because he's FUCK**G Superman and I buy his superpowers be...

I disagree. I think this was worth the effort to set it up, simply because he felt the need to let the citizens know he's back, and he's coming to help. But... how exactly did he go about doing it? Bearing in mind that Bane/his men are killing people all the time and the bomb is going off in less t...
