Just saw TDKR, here's my review ( big time Spoilers)

Great review.

Really don't read if you haven't been spoiled, though.

Ebert gave it 3 stars

So Ebert gave it 3/5. He's been off the mark before, but from the sounds of it; TDKR suffers from too many new characters, a vaguely-motivated villain and not enough Batman. TDK suffered in similar ways; I just couldn't get behind the Harvey Dent story and his sudden flip into a murderous rampage. ...

[SPOILERS] The Final Scene

The biggest reason I hate Blake becoming Batman is that it will take away the "cool" from Batman Begins. In BB we finally got to see a true origin story explaining how Batman obtained his fighting ability and mindset to combat crime. If Blake becomes Batman it kind of cheapens the great origin stor...

Nolan Fans is no longer ghetto as hell.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/8/8c/Best_Day_Ever.jpg I've got to say congrats to everyone for getting this done. This board is just insane at times. For a few months whenever a new piece of information was coming out, it'd be almost impossible to navigate through the bullshit and see mem...

Yes. There was an entire thread devoted to it.

I say this thread should be stickied and remembered for all time as a crowning moment of the board.

The Physics of the Dark Knight

I wouldn't take the article as a serious critique. Wired just like to be uber-scientific.

Besides, the cape (as introduced in BB) is supposed to have super-strength qualities using electromagnets. Nolan addressed the physics early on and made it a sci-fi material.

[SPOILERS] The Final Scene

Gordon and Alfred exchange handshakes and then, after a pause, warm hugs as they meet in a bustling Nepalese village. Gordon unsuccessfully attempts to hide his crutches from the tanned, white-shirted Alfred. Batman has publically died, they coyly note, but Gordon mentions that Catwoman and "new vi...
