Re: Dunkirk Industry/Celebrity Buzz
In regards to Interstellars RT score. People keep going on about how they hope Dunkirk doesn't replicate that. Didn't most people on here enjoy that film? So why do people care? Didn't everyone's favourite Nolan film in the Prestige get like 76?

Re: UNTITLED NOLAN FILM (2017)
Seriously, I don't really see him doing anything that isn't his own idea from now on. Why would he want to adapt anything when he's got the power to do his own pet projects.

Re: UNTITLED NOLAN FILM (2017)
Thing is about adapting Akira, is that I doubt it would be a remake of the movie itself and rather a direct adaptation of the manga itself, at least that's what I hope because as anyone who has seen Akira knows, it would be largely redundant to remake the movie, but seeing at the movie is about 60% ...

Re: Interstellar General Film Discussion Thread
Caine didn't do anything that Coop probably wouldn't do himself. Remember he sacrificed everything and lied to people in order to save his daughter, you could argue Coop would have done the same, it's only until later on in the film he realises that he'll likely never see his daughter again and that...

Re: What is your interpretation of the ending? SPOILERS AHE

Although if we really want to delve into the ending...how about this; Ok I'm going by everything that is said in the film, because let's face it...all the an...

Re: What is your interpretation of the ending? SPOILERS AHE
I think a lot of people are overthinking the ending. It seemed fairly (mostly) straightforward to me.

Re: Interstellar General Film Discussion Thread
Surprisingly I pretty much grasped everything in the film (the general ideas are all laid out in the script, just expanded upon and slightly altered) but the only thing i need a little bit of help with was Dr Mann's plan/deception I understand that the planet he was on was in fact useless and the o...

Re: Interstellar General Film Discussion Thread
Second time watching it I was able to garner that constant major theme of differing ideas of survival. It seems like the film showed two different types of people, those who adapt and accept life the way it is and those who strive for more and better, Plan A and plan B. Donald, Tom, Mann, Doyle (som...
