It was the scene where Borden gets his finger cut off by his twin. They shot it in IMAX on a tripod then added shake in post to make it look handheld. Pfister only shot handheld IMAX once: The quick shot of the SWAT team in the elevator in TDK. Also, there were some aerial IMAX shots in The Prestig...

the imax shot was indoor along with several VistaVision shots now i can't say more about it

hey thank you for the sharing it is a pana 65mm but for this scenes it was another day dude for the other i think they where filming master shots for the auction sequence and i think they captured them in IMAX rather than 65MM 5P reserved only for heavy dialogue scenes
