Re: Interstellar Fan Art

^ Sounds closer to hell to me. One man's hell is another man's paradise. Between staying in a tesseract and being able to fly through my lifetime or the life of my loved ones without being able to directly interact with them is a helluva lot better than walking away for 2-3 hours and missing their ...

Re: What are Interstellar's Flaws?

cilogy, agree 100%. vader's just showing off how "deep" he is by claiming to prefer a tragic ending. while interstellar would have made a beautiful tragedy, it's so much more than that. those last 10 minutes complete cooper's story and clarify the movie's themes really beautifully. Yeah, but it's n...

Re: Interstellar General Film Discussion Thread

Does anyone know why they made a new logo for NASA on their suits?

Maybe the older script or novelization touches on that, but I was thrown off by that at first.

Re: Will people more concern about global warming?

sickofsickness, interesting thoughts -- i agree with you. perhaps it's best to say that she's parroting a certain ideology, but is too naive even to realize that's what she's doing? Yeah your perspective is sound. I'd go with that. It's not the fervent and rabid denialism that we actually experienc...

Re: Will people more concern about global warming?

i think it's a little strange to describe the school's "the moon landings were faked" agitprop as "science denialism." that teacher's ideology is not anti-science; it's anti-going-into-outer-space-and-searching-for-an-earth-twin. i mean, yes, in our world, people who deny the moon landings probably...

Thank you. I'm slow. I didn't realize there was a novelization. I just learned about it now. Has anyone read it and reported if it's worth seeing? Novelizations of movies seem cheap to me.

Re: Interstellar General Information

Yes I'd like this and there's apparently a shot of
Coop and TARS in the background as she heads toward the pod for her "nap", I'd like to see if they're actually visible.

Re: Interstellar's Soundtrack

Wait, there are differences in the credits for the formats? I saw 70mm imax and digital imax. Stated for whole credits in digital... Couldn't stay in yr 70mm. Was there any difference I ask bc i was looking for footage or easter eggs at the end of credits.

Re: What's Your Favorite Scene?

The line doesn't take on meaning until later. The first time I saw the movie it was eye roll, but the second viewing it made sense.
