Dunkirk's now 96/100.
Still great, though it is down from 100/100 from earlier.

Re: Dunkirk Industry/Celebrity Buzz

Inception reception was generally positive but not as universally loved as the Dark Knight Kris Tapley is so annoying. He likes to give opinions that are ‘different’ from the rest of his peers. I just find the guy to be anti-mainstream. Huh I just checked... it says Tapley isn't an approved critic ...

Re: Dunkirk Industry/Celebrity Buzz

I like how they're ranking Nolan's films with Dunkirk included without having seen it... That Tapley guy is a total assclown. These are just idiots who talk about movies but instead of doing it on forums they record it and put it online and call themselves journalists. Dude got my hopes up th...

Re: Rotten Tomatoes Predictions

What the hey, I'll be a bit of an optimist here. I could see it getting a reception like Mad Max and Gravity where spectacle/directing won over critics even if the story and dialogue was scant. Heck even from the trailers I have a gut feeling this is going to be Nolan's big directing showcase (i.e. ...

Re: Dunkirk General Information

Other titles explore the possibilities of purely visual storytelling, whether literally, in the case of the silent epics – Stroheim’s Greed and Murnau’s Sunrise – or in part, like the thrilling windswept beaches and crashing waves of Ryan’s Daughter. The relationship of geographical spectacle to na...

Re: Trailer #3

The only reason that Big Hero 6 won the weekend is because it had 3D, while Interstellar did not. If Interstellar had had 3D, that alone would have put it over the top over Big Hero 6, because audiences love 3D + space movies. (Something like 50% of Gravity's opening weekend came from 3D ticket sal...

Re: IMAX Prologue

Yeah I'm really baffled by the fact that there are so little reviews of the prologue, or even the trailer for that matter. There were plenty of reviews when it came out in December. But not from major YouTube reviewers. Maybe a few years ago, but now? Unless its something associated with superheroe...

Re: Dunkirk General Information

Anyone feel like Nolan's last few movies are him trying to further polish his craft and address the issues people have had with his films? The two most common complaints I saw from people re:Nolan were his supposed "cold and unemotional filmmaking", and his "heavy use of exposition." Interstellar wa...
