Re: Sides

I think they're actually still in Japan. DiCaprio just got his sneakers stolen from a shrine in Kyoto: http://www.nypost.com/seven/06292009/gossip/pagesix/fans_steal_leonardo_dicaprios_sneakers_176691.htm EDIT: never mind. I missed the part in the article where it said "last week". So maybe they ar...

Re: Hard cuts

In technical terms, a hard cut is a change from one scene to another without the use of any transitions laid over the cut such as a fade or a dissolve. Nolan could use hard cuts for several reasons. Re: I must be the only one who prefers this to TDK

What I hate about Burton is that he is solely style over substance. He creates films that are dark for the sake of them being dark; it's ridiculous. I agree. Re: Dooble Bug

Yeah, it made 201 million over 5 days as opposed to TDK's 203 million. Luckily it still holds the 5 day record.

Re: Peter Jackson is no where near on par with Nolan

And I did not liked King Kong. No, and I can't say I cared for Lord Of The Rings either. Though his next production District 9 looks very cool! Lord of the Ring's pacing was awful. :( It was. In his defense (to play devil's advocate) I can imagine it would be tough to adapt something that mammoth a...

Neil Blomkamp seems like a very talented director. His commercial work is top notch so I am really looking f...
