Re: Why Insomnia Is The Least Respected Nolan Film
I do respect it the least out of Nolan's films; which doesn't mean the film is anything short of brilliant. It should be noted, however, that it is the only film directed by Chris that he did not write.

Re: Easily, my favourite film of all time
I wish I could watch this movie for the first time, because the first viewing of this film is amazing and confusing. I've watched this film for maybe the fifth time now, and its still great. I feel the exact same way as you, I almost want to bash my head until the point of amnesia (excuse the pun, ...

Re: What flaws do you see in Batman Begins.
The reason why Nolan shot and edited the action scenes as such, was to put the viewer in the point-of-view of a criminal, which I believe works effectively.Nebel wrote:The biggest flaw for me is the editing / camera work during the action sequences which has been pretty much rectified during the sequel.

Re: What flaws do you see in Batman Begins.
I had two main problems with Batman Begins. The whole giant microwave vaporizing water didn't make sense. It would vaporize people too, since we're like 70% water. There's no way that everyone near this massive microwave wouldn't just die outright. It was made to only vaporize through the sewers an...

Re: Ken Watanabe and Tom Hardy join
Very awesome news! :D Ken Watanabe is a joy to watch. I wonder how he will match up opposite of DiCaprio. I think that they are both amazing but very different actors, if they are going to share a similar amount of screen time, then it would be interesting to see how Nolan directs it. I think that,...

Re: Hey there!
Hey, Erik! I was first introduced to Nolan after I watched the theatrical release of Batman Begins back in '05. Over on IMDb, I clicked on his name and saw that he had an awesome but short filmography and that The Prestige was being made. I saw The Prestige in the theatre and became a fan; I decided...
