Saint Maud

If this is considered a 2020 film then it would be near the top of my list. Really dug this.

The Mirror (1975)

Best film I've watched in quite awhile. Guess I'll have to do Stalker next.

Re: Nightmare Alley (2021)

Same. This has an interesting cast and would have been something different for him. Mckay doesn't really excite me as a director. Wanted him for PTAs film as well.

Promising Young Woman - The climax undermines just about everything else this was trying to say. -Vader Gotta say the climax of this film really misses the mark. How so? Re: Untitled David O. Russell Film (TBD)

Not gonna lie its a little hard to root for O. Russel...but he seems to get actors to return and not denying the level of talent involved. His actions in the past still leave a dark cloud over his accomplishments. Not one I'm willing to ignore either.

Really dig SLP but tried to watch American Hustle several times after initially enjoying it and have failed to get into the film. Never watched JOY.

This cast is crazy and always down for Lubezki.

Re: Tenet - Awards Season Discussion Thread

It's not Hoytema's best work with Nolan by any means but it is one of the more visually striking films this year. I think more than his other work it has ups and downs but really shines at times. I think this and Im thinking of ending things would be my favorites in the category this year.
