Three Thousand Years of Longing (2022)

New George Miller (Mad Max) fantasy adventure movie. With Idris Elba & Tilda Swinton. Maybe we get a release this year. Sounds interesting. "A scholar, content with life, encounters a Djinn who offers her three wishes in exchange for his freedom. Their conversation, in a hotel room in Istanbul, lead...

McDonagh has a weird faible for midget characters. Waiting for Peter Dinklage confirmation.

Re: Those Who Wish Me Dead (2021)

This felt like a generic mid 90s action movie. Boring plot, boring protagonists and weak bland antagonists. And oh those cgi fires

After the decent Wind River, this was a big disappointment from Sheridan.

From the interview with Cruise in the new Empire issue.

I wonder if Tom Cruise was ever considered for a Nolan movie. Would be a great duo.

Re: ⊃∪∩⪽ (2021)

This film is sandwiched between: (i) Shang-Chi, (ii) Venom 2; and (iii) Bond. The most vulnerable film out of that bunch is Dune. It's an old IP, the director skews more 'arty' than commercial and it's a new brand. Dune has to move. Surely..... And the trailer looks very serious. I understand the c...

Lol i didnt even know what that movie was
That movie is a wanna-be interstellar. It is not very good, would not recommend it.
And in terms of visual effects, it adds nothing new to the science fiction genre. It looks exactly like Gravity (2013) or Interstellar (2014).
