TDKR Plot Speculation

False only Goyer and Chris do the story. We all know Goyer has so many dumb ideas and Chris just hand waves him. Goyer just fills Chris in on the history of the comics and characters, gets Chris tea, etc. :eh: That's not true. There were some story beats developed late in the screenplay process ent...

Tom Hardy as Bane

You bring up an interesting point and something that I also find interesting to think about. The contradictions in the Jokers ideals, motivations, and actions are one of the things that I believe makes his character intriguing. He preaches to his opponents that their scheming and planning is futile...

Tom Hardy as Bane

Nah not really. The entire idea of the Joker was a man who had no plan. He was an agent of chaos. Whereas Bane would be a part of the LOS and work towards there objective in order to position himself to accomplish his own goals, the Joker never had a goal and simply played Gotham's competing partie...

That reminds me too much of the joker Nah not really. The entire idea of the Joker was a man who had no plan. He was an agent of chaos. Whereas Bane would be a part of the LOS and work towards there objective in order to position himself to accomplish his own goals, the Joker never had a goal and s...

Lol bane does not mix with lands one bit. Lands is charming, pleasant, quirky and sweet. That's how you want Bane to carry himself No no no, not at all. I see your point though. I hadn't thought it through fully. I was just thinking how Landa has no loyalty to the Nazi ideology he is driven primari...

TDKR Plot Speculation

Yes I would be very sad too. But I just find it interesting that Nolan stated that he plans to complete the story of Bruce Wayne. Since I don't see a way for Nolan to thematically justify Bruce abandoning his life as Batman, there are only two possibilities that I see: 1. Bruce becomes so beaten up...

TDKR Plot Speculation

If, as Chris Nolan has said, this film will mark a definitive end to his Batman trilogy, then perhaps Nolan might decide to do the unthinkable. Has anyone else on here pondered the idea that, perhaps, Bruce Wayne might die? Yes they have..... and I will be very upset  if he does since Bale's p...

A Tale of two cities. Book II Chapter XXIII.The Fire Rises

Did this actually happen in the comics? Yes... "Despite his circumstances, he finds teachers of various sorts during his incarceration, ranging from hardened convicts to an elderly Jesuit priest, under whose tutelage he apparently receives a classical education. Bane murders this priest upon his re...
