Re: Rotten Tomatoes Predictions

Funny how some of you mentioned Gravity. I believe Dunkirk will work exactly like that movie: It's gonna be a thrill of a "movie going experience", great reviews, people are going to say it is an astounding, non-stop action movie, filled with heart-pounding sequences. 6 months later people will bare...

Re: Rotten Tomatoes Predictions

85% to 95%. The movie looks too safe and soft, just what critics like nowadays. It won't be a formulaic pile of horseshit like most Hollywood films which might be a detriment to the final score but hey it won't have the intellectual ambition of Inception or Interstellar which is always a BIG plus! ;)

Re: Dunkirk General Information

I have a feeling this movie may be a major letdown. Probably the worst rated Nolan movie ever. :| It's absolutely going to be a major letdown but probably not his worst rated movie, I reckon it's actually going to be the oposite of what happened with Interstellar. Where that movie actually deserved...

Re: Dunkirk General Information

I love the predictable vindication of bullshit some people are vomiting out of their cult-like behaviour. Beyond the conspicuous notion that almost everyone here are going to twist and adapt their perception and criticism in order to justify Nolan's artistic choices, I would really recommend everyon...

Re: Dunkirk General Information

Emma Thomas: " Dunkirk is a film about the survival, hope and experience of war. " Christopher Nolan: " It's less a war movie than a survival drifted by suspense." Pfft ha ha, I love it how he had to redirect and practically correct the last thing Thomas said because the film is so fucking PG-13. Y...

Re: Dunkirk Oscar Chances

A summer, PG-13, "war" movie?

Oscar chances?

Now get this to Forum Fun and move along, next time you might want to try: "BAFTAs", at least the "a Christopher Nolan Film" might help in there.

Re: Trailer #2

You can call it whining or whatever, but this is a movie which is based on real events where people fought, died and suffered tremendous lost. Even if the filmmakers pretend to accentuate the themes of bravery, heroism and whatever, in these sort of cases there is a bit more responsibility than that...
