Re: Does 'Oppenheimer' finally tell us that Nolan isn't a Tory?

By Hollywood standards, yes... Especially after TDK, TDKR, Dunkirk and TENET (the controversy of non-postponement). Where I live most leftwing people don't like him very much. The people further to the rightwing are always praising his work. Believe me. Here everything is politicized now. Literally...

Re: Dylan Arnold as Frank Oppenheimer

Noticed this a handful of moments. At one point you can tell that RDJ's lines are *just* barely matching, but you wouldn't ever notice it unless you're thinking about it (I was wondering where his moment of ADR is - I'm almost certain I found it later).

Re: Box Office

Saw it on Sunday in digital IMAX and it was *packed.* Nearly sold out still. Tons of older people too that loved it.

Although one guy booed when RDJ said "left-leaning". Wonder what that ass thought of the rest of the movie lol

Re: Box Office

Does that mean it ended up in 2nd or 3rd place?

Every website only has $28.7 rather than $29.1. TMNT, Meg 2, and Oppie were all within 1 mil of each other.

Re: Does 'Oppenheimer' finally tell us that Nolan isn't a Tory?

The thing about right-wingers is, that they are so desperate for some glimmer of representation in the culture that they will force associate anything with their ideologies to subdue that urge. Top Gun Mavrick is right-wing, Super Mario is right-wing, Barbie is right-wing, anthing that does well, t...
