Probably a relative unknown or a rising TV star of some kind. Casting a big name might be distracting, while a complete unknown risks audience indifference.

Of course, talent and suitability for the part comes first.

Not at all, I'm very much in agreement. I would like Whedon to rewrite the Twilight writer's script though.

Definitely Nolan's best arthouse work IMO.
