Re: Interstellar General Information

Btw, wtf was that new Steve Carrell movie about?! Whoa! Terrible. Anyway, no TV spot yet, any minute now. Foxcatcher? I've actually heard its a really good movie. Has an 89% on Rotten Tomatoes. Oh no, Foxcatcher looks great. This was some Disney comedy crapfest. Alexander and the Terrible Horrible,...

Re: First Interstellar TV Spot

Whether it's several or seven, I'm interested in how it's supposed to check out mathematically. The only way they could get that sort of time dilation is literally being next to the edge of a black hole, or moving a snail's pace less than the speed of light. Remember the last shot in Trailer #3? Th...

Re: First Interstellar TV Spot

I think Romilly says "Every hour on that planet will be several years back on Earth" and not seven. Indeed sounds like several to me. Also this TV-spot is very Inception-like in my opinion. Whether it's several or seven, I'm interested in how it's supposed to check out mathematically. The only way ...

Re: First Interstellar TV Spot

Now that Empire confirmed The Right Stuff as an inspiration, it's interesting to see him referred to as the best pilot they ever had. Sounds like his character would fit right in that movie.

Re: Interstellar General Information

I could have wrote that comment after reading Empire (and not a single page of the original script). I didn't buy it either It was so ridiculously based off the Empire article, down to the mention of the jump cut. Of course, even though they're commenting on a completely anonymous forum, they can't...

Re: Interstellar General Information

That article is pretty heavy on the spoilers for the uninitiated! But, I think I actually feel less spoiled than before, having read the old script. Allegedly all of Nolan's major changes are after they leave Earth.

Re: Interstellar - Predict running time

It seems like a lot of people are starting to hear what the running time is. This one isn't much, but I guess Kristopher Tapley has heard and says it is quite long, to say the least. @kristapley OK "Interstellar" is long as hell. https://twitter.com/kristapley/status/514935106721427457 The other th...
