Re: Practical Effects vs. CGI

Practical effects for sure. Actors tend to perform better in working sets such as the rotating corridor from Inception.

Re: Film Noir - Following, Memento and...now?

Sure, Nolan could do a noir again, but he should bring something new to the table like he did with Memento. Even Insomnia was a kind of neo noir, even though it was completely set at day. But yes, Nolan's early works are, in some ways, my favourite of his and I think that he should go back to direct...

Re: Cobb's Wife

That's actually a good theory as I also heard that she was dead, but I want to stop reading these things about her character because I'm sensing that I'm going to spoil the surprise for myself.

Re: Official Plot Synopsis from WB

[quote="Mbah Cobb I kinda had an idea like that after reading the plot summary but then again I still think JGL will make surprise at the end (based on trailers). Anyway, enough already, bring the 3rd trailer, WB! :D yeah, I saw Iron Man 2 yesterday, no Inception trailer for international audience :...

Re: Favourite scene?

Mine is and odd one, but it's the very short scene near the beginning when Teddy steps through the door of the motel saying 'Lenny!', and Leonard replies 'My names Leonard', and the dialogue that follows is just perfect. Another reason why I like this scene is the way it's repeated before the scene ...

Re: Release dates of Inception

Does anyone know the England release date? I think it's around the 16th of July, but I want to know for sure to be on the safe side, I'm going on holiday soon after.

Re: what actors do you wish Nolan would work with in the fut

Not Johnny Depp...

Joaquin Phoenix would be a good one if he was still acting, and so would Tom Hardy, though his role in Inception is part of the supporting cast.

Re: Inception starting Scene...

For some reason, even though it's unrealistic, I'd always wanted the film to start with the shots of the train, Tom Hardy and JGL's car and that motorbike going through the city in that chase from the trailer.

Re: My latest short film: Inception trailer 2 in LEGO

I think it is a little rough, but I had a pretty good idea of what was going on. Some areas were worse than others, while some scenes were actually quite good.

Plus, lego is one of the greatest things on this earth. Thank you for simply taking it to this level.

Re: Batman 3 synopsis

[quote="NightwingBeginsI think it would be great to have a Metropolitan journalist like Clark Kent doing a report on a 'The Batman' murders.[/quote] I'm sorry, but Nolan's Batman universe is a fairly independent one. About as indie as superhero films can go. I don't mind the marvel characters put to...
