Re: Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

To the people who have seen it (it still hasn't opened in my country - I'm going this Friday as it opens, don't worry ;) ):

Is it a hard R or was it possible to trim it with minor changes to a more reasonable PG-13 without largely compromising the finished product?

Re: Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

Unless this movie has REALLY GOOD legs, I don't see it getting a sequel due to its opening weekend. I mean it cost 150 mil, considering the marketing and all that it would have to make about 350 to brake even and bring some profits. It would have to have Batman Begins level of legs. Sadly, with Tomo...

Re: Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

My review: This film was tiring. I still can't say that it was bad because it had its moments from time to time and I felt it was more focused on the characters than a typical Transformers movie (although they have a lot of bad things in common, more on this later) - eg. In comparison to the previou...

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)

I thought he was better in the sequels actually. More emotional, more dramatic, more human. His best performance was in TDKR, especially in the prison scenes.

Re: Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

I really like Pitch Perfect, I love watching it with my young niece. I love Mad Max more and I would definitely watch it first (I can't because it opens a week later than PP2 in my country) but you don't have to "blame" Pitch Perfect for Mad Max's bad box office performance. These films target COMPL...

Re: Tom Hardy wants to do "The Punisher"

Tom Hardy would be a solid choice but I have to agree, this really didn't deserve its own thread. Just because some actor wants to play a part doesn't mean anything. Unless he's DiCaprio, Pitt or someone with that many connections, respect and box-office influence, it's not going to happen. Tom Hard...

Re: New Nolan Film in 2016?

Nolan should do a documentary about IMAX in IMAX http://i.imgur.com/9lv3iO5.gif How does the thought of a documentary give you an orgasm??????? Documentaries are the most boring things on earth. I'm not defending an orgasm... That's way too much with any type of movie (well, maybe porn :P ) but doc...

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)

Killer Batman is that one area nobody should discover. Play with it? Yes. That's why Joker exists, but to fully deliver on the provocative yet character crushing premise? Never. Even Miller's Batman isn't killer Batman (that's not a sniper, that's a grapple gun, just a reminder for some who might t...

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)

Bale was the most human, vulnerable and dramatic Batman. Whether that's something some likes or not it's a personal preference. I loved it, even though it wasn't the typical comic book representation. But it served the movies and that character great. Typical comic book representation is also 'a hu...
