The kick from the avalanche would only work if it was in the layer above it. Its the "Sleeping you" that has to get kicked. The active you in the dream can do all sorts of crazy things. The Batman films scores are fantastic, but Zimmer's work on Inception is remarkable. With influences of genius composers such as Ennio Morricone, Bernard Herrmann and Vangelis. A masterpiece!
