The 65mm cameras they are talking about have a similar aspect ratio as 35mm. It's not like how they use 65mm stock with the IMAX cameras. AICN reported a long time ago that Nolan and Pfister had developed a 65 mm camera that they were going to use on Inception as a warm up for shooting entirely in that format for BATMAN 3. I'll see if I can find that link.
