The 65mm cameras they are talking about have a similar aspect ratio as 35mm. It's not like how they use 65mm stock with the IMAX cameras. You don't get the increased frame so it wouldn't fill the IMAX screen. The quality of the image would be superior to 35mm, obviously. Quantum of Solace, Spiderma...

AICN reported a long time ago that Nolan and Pfister had developed a 65 mm camera that they were going to use on Inception as a warm up for shooting entirely in that format for BATMAN 3. I'll see if I can find that link.
