Re: Zero Dark Thirty (2012)

Epic bump is indeed epic. I may be one of few people to think this is as close as Bigelow will get to cinematic perfection. It's neck and neck between this and The Tree Of Life for best film of the new millennium in my book. Call it overating it, call it being a slave to Bigelow's adrenaline-soaked ...

Re: Interstellar Countdown Thread

Fricking Sunday at 4pm; literally my favourite time to go to the cinema 8-)

As much as I wish I could see it in real IMAX, it's been some ride since the first announcement to get here. The ultimate trip indeed

Re: 'Interstellar' Reviews Discussion

Ultimately does my heart good to see more positive and entertained reviews coming out. Hopefully the general consensus is that Interstellar is a good piece of work worthy of acclaim, and maybe, just maybe, there won't be an inhuman amount of nit-picking and gripping about the film's flaws that we'll...

Re: 'Interstellar' Reviews Discussion

Still wondering how Edelstein got over his bias against Nolan and gave a good review. He still made some low blows in his write up that grind, but it's fresh.

Re: Interstellar Box Office Predictions

At this point I'd obviously dial back the word of mouth Interstellar 's gonna have, that helped Inception so much. Big Hero 6 is also gonna be a monkey in the wrench, even though the word is it's not a great film, Disney sure does know how to sell it. I'm guessing $78 million opening weekend domesti...

Re: NolanFans V Diary: Dawn of Collecting

Brother graduated formally today with his Masters! - finished in college now and looking for a job. The pressure is now fully off him to become a civil engineer, and now on me to become a doctor :shifty: By the by if anyone has a job opening for an OCD and fussy manchild who'll glady work for minimu...

My first rewatch of it since I was 12 and seeing...

Re: 'Interstellar' Reviews Discussion

Jesus Christ. 79 pages in less than five days? I can't even fathom what this place is going to be like come next week. Quite the madhouse I'd guess :? I wanna say I'll try my best to let each critic have their own valid opinion but when some completely trash it and say it has no redeeming qualities...
