Just finished episode 8 of Season 3. Totally forgotten about how good a character Ralph Cifaretto is to watch on screen.
Watching it again has really made me appreciate James Gandolfini more than I did previously.

Re: Scottish Independence
Ironically, the inevitable constitutional change that this NO vote will bring could very well bring about the end of the Union in the future. Extensive federalism within the UK is almost unworkable without fracturing the Union. The three main parties have stitched themselves up here with their (dece...

Re: Scottish Independence
Scotland says Yes to dependence. It's all over now, No wins. Sigh. I'm not even angry or upset, just disappointed by the lack of character, self-esteem, and balls shown by the majority of Scotland. The people of Scotland have decided that they do not want to run their own affairs. We deserve everyth...

Re: BBC's Doctor Who
Really good episode. We haven't enjoyed an episode like that in a long time. Genuinely frightening at times, as opposed to the "children horror" we usually get.

Re: Scottish Independence
Has anybody seen the polls? Now the Yes campaign is ahead. YouGov has Yes ahead but the "poll of polls" has No slightly ahead. Personally I think it's not far off 50/50 (excluding Don't Knows). 97% of the voting age population have registered to vote (approximately 80% of the entire Scottis...

Re: Clooney to Direct Pic About British Phone Hacking Scanda
I, for one, can't wait to see Hugh Grant playing, erm, Hugh Grant as he gives evidence in front of the Leveson Inquiry. SPOILER ALERT: British tabloid culture hasn't really changed since the whole hacking thing kicked off. Would it be cynical to suggest that Clooney is taking this up after his run-i...

Re: BBC's Doctor Who
Blink was my personal favourite from Tennant's time. I quite like The Satan Pit double episode, and The Waters Of Mars. However they are some way off Blink or, even, Midnight.
From Eccleston, my top three would be:
Dalek
The Empty Child
The Doctor Dances
