Visually inspired by 2001 (Van Hoytema’s work is incredible - give this man all the awards), and some elements from Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049.
Just saw this film. This was the first thing that came to my mind.

The gameplay is live right now, if anyone is curious.

EDIT: The VA is Japanese though.

Glowing reviews coming out of TIFF. From what I've read, both Hanks and Rhys (especially Hanks) are incredible, and it's not your regular straight-forward biopic.
Well, that's great news.

Re: General Music Thread

Turned out the whole of Tool's Fear Inoculum is available on YouTube.

I've only listened to Lateralus (the album) before, but this new album is very good.

Re: Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019)

Just saw this.
I really like what Tarantino did with Tate. Every scene of hers are wholesome – pretty uncharacteristic of QT to do scenes that way. The film succeeds as an affectionate tribute to Tate, I think.

Re: General Music Thread

Has anyone listened to Tool's new album yet? Is it worth buying?

EDIT: Of course, I'm asking this because I'm not a die-hard Tool fan.

Huh, apparently the new Yakuza game will be a turn-based RPG.

Re: The Irishman (2019)

I'm sorry that's too long. Longer doesn't always mean better. I love Scorsese, but both the "Silence" and even "Wolf of Wall Street" could of lost 30 mins to their benefit. "Silence" probably could of lost closer to 50.... Except for the ending and some minor changes, Silence is a very faithful ada...
