Its just so messy compared to Kubrick's other films. The story is good, but the pacing kind of sucks, and Kirk Douglass seems to be taking the film far more seriously than anyone else in it.

Yeah, at this point I'm just trusting that Bird and Abrams aren't going to bring us a story anywhere near as bad as MI2. Regardless I'm gonna watch this simply to see what Bird does with IMAX.
