WW gross should be now at $251M.
I keep being somewhat impressed by how decently it's been holding in international markets. Word of mouth might not be as mixed as online reactions after all.

Re: Tenet - Box Office Discussion/Speculation
On a side note: After watching Tenet there was something bugging me. Do we know that the 250 million budget is for real? Because if I'm being honest, I don't understand how it cost more than 100 million. We could argue that it was the plane sequence but Nolan said they used a real plane because it ...

Re: Tenet - Box Office Discussion/Speculation
And they shouldn’t have spent $200M on it. I think this is the end of Nolan’s mega budget green light , unless he agrees to do a franchise movie with a guaranteed audience like James Bond, Batman, Star Wars, Marvel, etc. Dunkirk’s budget at $100M is the area WB should be targeting for his original ...

Re: Tenet - Box Office Discussion/Speculation
$300M - $350M WW is my guess too.
I will say though, a 36% drop internationally seems good to me, considering the more mixed word of mouth.

Re: Tenet - Box Office Discussion/Speculation
Not the ideal start, but we have to remember that this most likely has only been playing in around 2,000 theaters or so in the US.
But at this point, even though international numbers seem good, I just don't see this reaching $400M total WW like I hoped, which sucks. It is what it is.

Re: Tenet NFometer
I think movies can be a lot of things, that's the fun of them. I've only watched it twice, but I think it's all there from the beginning. The basics of the plot are understandable on a first watch, it's just that at one point the story dials up to 11 and it doesn't stop. It moves at such a brisk pac...
