Re: TENET - General Information/Discussion/Speculation

Reading that whole interview was interesting...Patterson seems like to have no ideas about the movie's plot, but it could be a "game" with the interviewer. On the other hand, Patterson seems like a scatterbrain with a real bad memory, but that could also be part of his "shtick" of his celebrity pers...

Re: TENET - General Information/Discussion/Speculation

Looking at the Amazon webpage for the book, it says that Kenneth Branagh is doing the Afterword and JDW is doing the Foreword. Just though that was cool...

Re: TENET - General Information/Discussion/Speculation

If they are able to open "when" in July? I mean if different places get the go ahead to open July 7th or something. They can get staff in and train them in new procedures for safety and open July 17th for Tenet. It's possible...so this isn't completely negative news. We have to see how the curve goe...

Re: Prologue

I'll admit I enjoyed the prequel but it is confusing and little weirdly edited. I hope in the context of the whole movie it makes sense better or the scene is fleshed out a little bit more.

Re: Blackhat (2015)

Mann is one of the greats of the last 40 years. Everyone doing those list on social media for ranking best directors always has Nolan, Spielberg, Scorsese, Tarantino, PT Anderson, and now a days, people putting Peele, Bong Joon-ho, Aster, etc. up there. But Mann's filmography can stack up with anyon...

Re: Blackhat (2015)

Finally got around to watching this. It was pretty good. I have no idea why it has such a bad critic and audience rating. Doesn't hit the highs of Heat, Insider, Miami Vice or Collateral, of course, but I've seen much worse with better box office and higher marks. I love how Mann shoots cities at ni...

Re: TENET - General Information/Discussion/Speculation

What irks me at the moment, is people on twitter criticizing Nolan for being "greedy" for wanting to open Tenet in July. You think it's too soon to release, that's fine, it may end up being so. But, Nolan certainly has a strong backend deal on the film, and with the film very likely making less than...

Re: TENET - General Information/Discussion/Speculation

If WB is able to get longer than average runs in theaters with increased showtimes and delays it's home release longer than usual, then it could possibly make a decent profit no matter if its release is staggered around the world. It will likely not be as much as it was gonna make before the virus, ...

Re: HBO's I Know This Much Is True

Read a couple of reviews, seems like great acting with a slow pace but really, really depressing story. I'll likely check it out, but real life is so depressing enough already.
