I wonder if the theater chains, AMC/Regal/Cinemark especially, will market themselves to announce that they're opening back up. That would be a huge boost.
NATO will be organising a big nationwide marketing campaign which no doubt Nolan and the cast will be involved in

Re: Killers of the Flower Moon (2021)

Mind you we still don't know for sure how Apple TV+ will be in play here. It could be like Amazon in its pre Aeronauts/The Post days and with The Goldfinch where the film still gets traditional home entertainment before it goes onto SVOD, instead of going on the service in place of that.

Re: Killers of the Flower Moon (2021)

Based on how things went with Irishman, the right choice. Gets the full theatrical window and wide global release via Paramount, then just skips traditional home ent and goes onto ATV+ 16 weeks later or so. Criterion or similar Blu-ray probably too.

Re: Tenet - Box Office Discussion/Speculation

Publicly anyway...obviously it’s kinda foolhardy to announce anything without knowing for sure when major cities are back online. But from that IndieWire Zoom thing, Paramount’s Aronson is saying the word is basically everyone is hoping for and planning to begin late June phased reopenings in time t...

Re: Tenet - Box Office Discussion/Speculation

There's an IndieWire Zoom webinar happening - NY/LA apparently only make up to 12-14% of domestic box office according to Paramount’s head of US distribution - but he’s bullish on Tenet still opening on 17th…thinking it might not necessarily move if NY/LA aren’t open...

Re: Untitled Tom Cruise/NASA/SpaceX Project (TBD)

My guess is Musk doesn't put the cost of sending actors and crew to space on the production company/studio in exchange for plenty of Space X logos throughout the film. Establishing Space X as the defacto provider of human space travel is a great PR move. Also Space X and NASA are sending humans to ...

Re: Untitled Tom Cruise/NASA/SpaceX Project (TBD)

Saying this as someone who loves Edge of Tomorrow, Liman probably should stay as far from a project this high risk as possible. -Vader I know right. Probably why there's no studio involved yet haha. Also I guess cost. We're talking 50-60m+ per person to go up there. Not to mention insurance and tra...
