Re: Tenet Fan Art Thread

Found some pretty spicy fanfictions too. I guess people are really into the Neil and Protagonist thing?

To be fair it wasn’t too noticeably, it’s something I only realized on later viewings but doesn’t take away from anything
The changing aspect ratio actually doesn't bother me. I was just hoping that sequence would be shot on IMAX because it's a beautiful location.

What about the whole ending sequence?
I assume the Eagle Mountain stuff was all IMAX, but was Kat and Sator on the yacht in Vietnam also IMAX?
Nope!
Damn. That kind of sucks. :(

Re: Appearances of the Cast and Crew

Informative and hilarious interview with Nolan & JDW (@ 11:24 mark). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2PvRLQOCYFc&t=684s DUNKIRK! Nolan is hilarious. I love that he'll just tell people when he doesn't want to do something, when most people would embarrass themselves doing something outside the...

Re: Tenet's Cinematography

There were long sequences that were shot completely on 70mm and did not switch at all. It has a lot to do with location, so if there were scenes that cut between action or dialogue in separate places, that's where the most jarring shifts happened. Still didn't find it too bad and didn't take me out...

Re: Your favorite scenes [SPOILERS]

So you just listed the whole movie? ;) Haha, kidding. So I was one of the people who didn't know anything about the film. Yes, I knew slightly about two set locations (I knew there was some dazzling building architecture and knew he wanted to close a freeway, but knew nothing else about their conte...

Re: Tenet User Reviews/Reactions [Possible SPOILERS]

Haven't seen ton of writing about what the movie actually doing, particularly in its formal interests and how Nolan has been slowly streamlining certain methods since Inception. I gather there will be more interesting writing once more people see it but i stumbled upon this on letterboxd piece by N...

Just got out of my 6th viewing...
I watched it for the first time yesterday and am regretting that I didn't get tickets for today. I thought waiting a week would be better, but I want to see it again so bad!

Re: Tenet User Reviews/Reactions [Possible SPOILERS]

I guess the way I see it is that Nolan writes his own movies, and being a man it makes sense that his lead would be a male - people write what they know. I don't personally have an issue with the "victim" role or damsel in distress, as this is sometimes a necessary trope. He writes his own movies, s...
