Re: [SPOILER] Discussion/Speculation Thread

It’s literally an algorithm but in physical form - that’s what was said in the film. The best place to hide those pieces are highly secure nuclear containment centers. People in the future have figured how to reverse the entropy of single objects but this algorithm reverses the entropy of the whole...

Re: Tenet Memes Thread

Unhinged actually made my head hurt even more :P it's a perfect "scream at the dumb characters" movie where also the villain has an inexplicable car which after every crash only has a scratch like it's a fucking tank :D

Re: Tenet - Box Office Discussion/Speculation

It's a bad result, no doubt about it. Even considering the pandemic 20 million over 13 days is about Unhinged numbers which just shows this might be the most theaters and studios can hope for at the moment which is scary. I expect movies to move release dates again. Studios can't make a profit unles...

Re: [SPOILER] Discussion/Speculation Thread

so the modernist lego algorithm is...doing what exactly? Those black boxes aren't the actual "time bomb," since Sator is trying to bury the "time bomb" so people in the future will go dig it up decades from the events of Tenet? And his "dead man's trigger" is to use regular explosive to bury those ...

Re: The Films Nolan should direct

I don't get the idea that he's interested in characters, dialogue and traditional storytelling considering his last two films.

Re: Nolan's downfall.

Sorry, perhaps I should have been more clear. Let's say since Nolan came on the scene in 2000 with Memento. Also let's be clear that I'm talking about in the context of being the greatest, so if Nolan has flaws as a filmmaker these things might be very nitpicky...and perhaps what I'm reading is jus...

Re: Tenet User Reviews/Reactions [Possible SPOILERS]

Alright, I love Christopher Nolan still, but I‘m going to talk about the main reason, for me, why the story of Tenet fundamentally doesn’t work for me. https://static.urbandaddy.com/uploads/assets/image/articles/standard/4206e9a90514ad25944aada4a58f25a9.jpg Again, compare this to All of Nolan’s oth...

Re: Nolan's downfall.

so uhmmm We assuming making TENET is the start of a downfall? With a lot of the criticisms around TENET (sound mix, lack of character development, etc) how many other NolanFans members still feel that Nolan is the best director of our time? I mean I always thought it was pretty obvious that he stan...

Re: The Films Nolan should direct

I wish Nolan directs a smaller project for a change, something that is not a blockbuster, a la The Prestige. It's been a long time. r/films called, they want their "hot take" back. I really don't get the idea of people wanting Nolan to do smaller movies when he's still the only one with a blank che...
