Re: CBS' Person of Interest

Given how the sims were talking in the last episode, I thought you folks would enjoy this:

Re: CBS' Person of Interest

A podcast would be good for the fans and I believe it would get a decent audience. I actually think I've came across a few about POI in my time but not really sure how good they were. Darrell Darnell and I did a quick 20 minute podcast for the TV Talk network for 1/2 of season 2 and all of season 3...

Re: CBS' Person of Interest

Do you guys think that the caller from the episode, 'Last Call' (season 3, episode 15), will be a important character in season 4 just like with Root in season 1? Answer: I think the intent of that episode was indeed to set a new character in motion. Having to deal with Samaritan and this guy will ...

Re: CBS' Person of Interest

What I would love to see is a real game changer for next season. A change-up from the usual procedural, where perhaps The Machine and Samaritan come up with the same number/person, but each has different plans for them, and we have Team Machine vs Decima trying to save/kill the PoI. Always easier to...

Re: CBS' Person of Interest

I read the interview that someone here posted where Sara Shahi said that this would be a "game changer". Well, I've heard that phrase from other actors about their shows, and it ultimately came across as overhype from a worker speaking well of his employer. Not this time. The term "deus ex machina" ...

Re: CBS' Person of Interest

A Machine with ethics is hobbled? Samaritan, with no ethics, is about to be unleashed? You couldn't draw a more direct parallel between Finch and Greer if you did it in neon signs. Are Vigilance the bad guys? Or good guys with a poor sense of ethics? Are we in some way rooting for them? Do we secret...

Finch, however, may still take some time. I like how the writers don't easily paper over issues from the past, and show how trust has to be built up over time.

Re: CBS' Person of Interest

Who knew you could take a story about an all-seeing supercomputer, and weave in a love story like this one? Well, that, and weave in another all-seeing supercomputer and limited trunk space? (I thought that, since Harold was in the wind, it made sense for him not to do the opening narration. B...

Re: CBS' Person of Interest

Indeed, TV plots have changed. Pure episodic is not going to cut it. Makes for better story-telling, I think, but the upshot is that if you aren't there from the beginning, it's like trying to pick up a book and start reading from the middle. Episodic shows can pick up new viewers easily. One with a...

Re: CBS' Person of Interest

Vigilance knows quite a bit about Finch's operation, they might be drawing out Team Machine by putting people in danger, and a question; can Control really shut down the Machine? It seemed pretty resistant to it before. Darrell Darnell and I discuss "Most Likely To..." on TV Talk: http://www.tvtalk...
