There was no need to tell an origins story of Batman
This is a trilogy and a journey, unlike other Batman films,we go deeper. Nolan and co explore an untold story of Bruce Wayne from alley to LoS and we learn who this is. Of BB never existed, why would we care at all about Bruce Wayne or Batman? This is one of the stupidest things ever said. :facepal...

There was no need to tell an origins story of Batman
That's why they called it a REBOOT. ;) A reboot doesn't necessarily mean an origins story. The Dark Knight could easily have been the first movie. It's not as if loads of people saw Begins anyway. You don't need to see Begins to see Dark Knight. I think for me at least it took the entire mystery ou...

There was no need to tell an origins story of Batman
Ouch, someone's touchy Am I not allowed to express an opinion? Begins has always been plodding to me whereas TDK got right into the action.RyanRises wrote:Oh fuck you.

Best blu ray transfers?
In terms of overall picture quality Lawrence of Arabia, 2001 and Blade Runner all look fantastic. Especially when you consider these movies were shot over 30 years ago. They look as if they were made today. I think all newly released movies get pretty spectacular transfers. Bluray has come a long wa...

Am I the only one who thought Ra's was the best villain?
Sorry, Ra's doesn't get a look in. The Joker is the best villain followed by Bane. Hell even The Scarecrow was better than Ra's al Ghul.

There was no need to tell an origins story of Batman
It's just one of the reasons why TDK is a million times better than this movie. I don't think I'm the only who thinks that the whole origins story was completely unnecessary. It took out all the mystery of Batman as a character. Batman's introduction in TDK was perfect if you ignore BB.

What was the last movie you watched? IV
Les Miserables
Not a fan of musicals by any means but the performances from Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman hold this movie up. Russell Crowe on the other hand

Why was Christian Bale so poor in this?
Is it a controversial opinion though? Like I've said before I like Bale as an actor but here he acted like a robot throughout the movie. Not to mention that his Bat voice was at its worst in TDK. Bale was spoofed through various YouTube videos. Whatever is great about TDK, Bale isn't part of that. ...

Would you have prefered TDK 2
Plus it's not as if BB was seen by many people and revered in the same way as its much superior sequel. So Nolan should have made TDKR based on his previous movies' popularity and not on how he wanted to end his trilogy? TDKR was as much connected to TDK as it was to BB. I suggest you watch the mov...
