Well the good news is that it's doing well in China on par with Kong: Skull Island opening.
We want bad movies to do well?

I can’t believe this lukewarm reception. Where’re the memes? This film deserves to be ripped to shreds.

Re: Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019)

My thoughts. The set up and the First half of the film was a bit of a mess, interesting ideas and themes on paper but poorly executed. Missed a bit of a deft touch and they needed to trust the audience way more. The story got into its stride more in the second half of the film. Spectacular Kaiju act...

Re: The Batman (2021)

Decent choice. Very intrigued to see his interpretation of the character.

Tbh, I do wonder what everyone's reactions on here would have been to this casting if they announced this before he was announced for Nolans new film...

Re: Avengers: Endgame (2019)

This discussion is getting toxic and I want no part in that, but I'm just curious - how else a scene like that should be incorporated into a movie like this to not seem "forced"? What does "forced" even mean in a context like this? Because to me it just sounds like an empty word people like to thro...

Re: Avengers: Endgame (2019)

Guess I'm one of the few who loved it... Not sure if you're being sarcastic. This movie can end up being the highest-grossing film of all time in less than two weeks and it's currently rated 9 out of 10 on IMDB. Clearly you're not one of the few. I was referring to the previous posts regarding... t...

Re: Avengers: Endgame (2019)

I agree that the scene felt forced, but that does not take away from how awesome it was. Basically this. Infinity War had a very similar scene that was way more natural, even if it was short. Endgame had so much more potential to take advantage of in this department, but instead they went with just...
