I have TDKR game on the iPad, brilliant game. I haven't had a problem with the sound though. Your iPad could be in 'mute' mode. Try double pressing the home button and sliding the bar to the right and see if the speaker icon has a line through it. That's the only thing I can think of.

I've never been a fan of Anne so I didn't know what to expect from her. I have to say she blew me away! She was amazing throughout the entire film. Can't imagine anyone else as Selina Kyle now. Hope there is Catwoman spin off for her!
