Re: Robert Downey Jr. joins cast
Yep. Take all my money right now. Wait didn't he talk trash about The Dark Knight back in the day? https://www.huffpost.com/entry/robert-downey-jr-on-the-d_n_119414 "My whole thing is that that I saw 'The Dark Knight'. I feel like I'm dumb because I feel like I don't get how many things that ...

Re: Robert Downey Jr. will play Lewis Strauss
Reading a bit about Oppenheimer, it doesn't seem like Strauss would be one of the 5 or 6 main characters. I could well imagine RDJ getting a "and Robert Downey Jr" credit. Who are the main 5/6 in your opinion? I'd say Murphy, Damon and Blunt's characters. Also Edward Teller. And if RDJ's character ...

Re: Cast
I wonder who'll play Edward Teller? Adrien Brody? There really isn't that many famous Hungarian-American actors around. michael fassbender? He is German so that is close to Austrira. I very much think Murphy will do a great job as Oppenheimer...but I thought Fassbender was tailor made for it. He is...

Re: Cast
I'd be cool with anyone. However with his family's German roots doesn't this feel like a really good Fassbender role? Feel like he could pull of the smarts need. I dunno early front runner for me. https://www.atomicheritage.org/sites/default/files/lesson_plans/Oppie%20in%20front%20of%20Chalkboard%20...

Re: Nolanhack's Next Flick
If I had a million bucks to take to Vegas, I'd put it all on either Howard Hughes or James Bond. It feels like occam's razor at this point. He wants people coming out to the theater. A Nolan Bond flick is the safest bet for hitting a billion. And Hughes would take him straight to the Oscars. You're...

Re: Nolanhack's Next Flick
Oh yeah, Hell and Gone is still a dream project I would really love him to do, and I'm sure he will tackle it someday. Assuming he went to Africa during his student years, when he was part of a big safari planned by photographer Dan Eldon, I would love him to do a big adventure film set in Africa. ...

Re: Mr. Hughes Bio adaption
Fundamentally, "The Aviator" and "Rules don't apply" leave out Hughes' wilderness years, and, much like Dunkirk, it might be up to Nolan to give a full picture of Hughes, which, I guess in my opinion, hasn't been done yet. Also, I don't like DiCaprio in the Aviator, he comes of like a boy wearing a...

Re: TENET - General Information/Discussion/Speculation
So just going off the wall here. This movie plays with time. Anyone else think Nolan might have Denzel stashed away as an older John David in this movie somewhere? ha probably just talking out my arse/wishful thinking. But dude hid Damon from Interstellar until it came out. I can't remember if I fou...

Re: Teaser/Trailer #1
Yea no way this thing drops online before Monday. WB isn't stupid. They know Nolan's fan base is large and they will probably get business from Nolan fans who just want to see the trailer. Help pump up the opening weekend of that movie. As much as I love Nolan not even he can get me to sit through ...
