Re: Tenet - Box Office Discussion/Speculation

I don’t know what’s going on in the US and the UK but it seems like the world is definitely going ahead of those two countries. Eid (a holiday here) is coming in 9 days and the government ordered a full lockdown during the holiday to prevent gatherings. We already have lockdown from 5 pm to 9 am. T...

Re: TENET - General Information/Discussion/Speculation

I can't really see it being held in the can for a year to be released in summer 2021. My guess is it would get the same treatment that the J...

Re: NBA Discussion Thread

That was the best All-Star Game that I can remember watching. The fourth quarter got unexpectedly intense.

Re: Jojo Rabbit (2019)

Didn't care for this. Passively charming at best, it's a clumsy appropriation of Wes Anderson's style. The palette, the anachronistic rock and roll, deadpan-slapstick performances, the lateral camera moves. Where Wes' style is one of exactness, Taika's loose, borderline "sketch" approach doesn't me...

Re: Last Film You Watched? VI

I rewatched Legends of the Fall a couple of days ago for the first time in years, and with the exception of James Horner's score and John Toll's cinematography... that movie hasn't aged well.
