Re: Interviews - Cast and Crew

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1R8KrBJvd0 Guys, what was RDJ saying around 5:27-5:30? Really want to know how he is messing with Cillian  Interviewer: "You seen it in IMAX?" RDJ: "YES." Cillian: "I haven't, you have." Interviewer: "What's it like ssss-" RDJ: "You don't get to." Interviewer: ...

WOW! I've yet to process it, but I think this is Nolan's most experimental film to date.
Favourite performances?
Cillian, RDJ, Emily and Jason Clarke. But all of them are outstanding.
What about Kenneth Branagh and Jack Quaid? And Josh! I've really been curious about how they are!

Re: Soundtrack: Göransson Returns

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJXNUJS5TU8 Wow, I really love the tone of the music that they showed off. Some of it sounded romantic, some unnerving, all with great use of violins! I like the part with the cello soloist where it almost sounds like something Philip Glass would write! Also, wasn't ...

Re: Oppenheimer - General Information

I'm hesitant to give details because, firstly, it is very easy to avoid and it very obviously gives massive spoilers but only if you deliberately choose to engage with it, and secondly, nobody on this forum would be so careless as to post it. This is more a warning against going through with tempta...

Re: Oppenheimer - General Information

Well, I was a dweeb, fell for temptation, and got the whole damn ending spoiled for me. I ain't going to talk about it, but just do yourselves a favor and don't let that happen to you (although y'all are probably far more experienced and adept at avoiding spoilers than a forum newcomer like me, so ...

Re: Oppenheimer - Early Reactions

I've seen this. London Premiere. What did you guys want to know? It's an obscure enough forum that I'm not too worried about word getting out. P.S. I won't spoil the film by giving out details, out of respect for the film. But I can discuss it in vague terms. What I liked about it. And how it comes...

Re: Oppenheimer - Opening Look

3:46 I've given some of my thoughts on this scene elsewhere, but in short: thumbs up on Oppenheimer stating clearly that igniting the atmosphere was a past concern and not a present one, thumbs down on inaccurately describing the mechanism by which they thought it would happen. Coming back to this,...

Re: Oppenheimer - Opening Look

Yeah, the camera pans up at the end of that scene to show a somewhat bright sky, so it's definitely not intended to take place at night. Exactly. And I think it's clear comparing with the other on-set photography that there is a lot more contrast and moodier colors in the film's grade. Saying that ...
