Re: Coronavirus Pandemic (2020)

Whitmer is encouraging protesting in public right now but was against people protesting for their livelihoods about a month back. I hope she enjoyed her more than likely only term at this point. The virus sure isn’t going to be picky.

Re: Trumpocalypse Now

Reverse would be the sensible option. Hitting a gas to push the blockade, along with the vehicle, with god knows what sort of outcome on the front, wasn't. If you want to calm the masses, get your ass out and talk to people like they're people, not cattle. Then these people can also be held to the ...

Re: Trumpocalypse Now

This is also something important to remember: https://twitter.com/SaraJBenincasa/status/1266469358382940160 Who says anything about them getting a gold star? It’s all about not condemning a whole group of people. Her comment reeks of hate for all cops. I like the “We pay their salaries” part as wel...

Re: Trumpocalypse Now

I'm not trying to bait or seem insensitive, but are the police in NJ doing stuff like this? https://twitter.com/yashar/status/1266896333178195969 You have to change your point of view, even just for a second, with videos like this. NYPD is surrounded by, mainly rioters as they're trying to clear th...

Re: Trumpocalypse Now

Idk, there's an overwhelming amount of excessive force, brutality, abuse of power, attempted murder, etc. all coming from cops the past few hours. Seems like tonight was less about the riots and protests and more about how far government leaders are willing to let cops get to "control the peace." I...

Re: Last Film You Watched? VI

It (2017) - 9/10 - as a huge fan of the book, I still enjoyed this a lot. I love Skarsgard as Pennywise and the cast as a whole was solid. Still one of my favorites from that year. It Chapter 2 - 6.5/10 - I like the casting, but it treads way to much on Marvel like humor. While I liked the pacing of...

Re: Coronavirus Pandemic (2020)

Please do not troll, bait, or run the topic off course. I’m just saying most people aren’t even considering the innocent cops in this. Cops as a whole are being considered the enemy when they are actually in the thick of it. are they more in the thick of it than black people who are being murdered?...

Re: Coronavirus Pandemic (2020)

It's a valid concern. I've been trying to connect and check in with friends, and pretty much everyone has cited COVID as a concern, or as a reason they're not going to protest. It's hard for me to use that as a judgement on people that feel compelled to protest tho. People are tired of living in fe...
