Re: Soundtrack: Göransson Returns

That is even more shocking than the directing category considering how consistently great the music is in his films. Interstellar not winning in 2015 is still beyond me. Dunkirk AND Phantom Thread losing to Desplat's score for Shape of Water is horribly bad. Those two might just be the worst offend...

Re: Nolanhack's Next Flick

I think we'll have an announcement this summer and a release in December 2025. No more three-year gaps. Plus December is Oscar Season and we're in the Oscar Nolan Era now. I can't imagine we're getting a Summer (July) 2026 movie. That seems so long. Oppenheimer was shot in 57 days. I know there's p...

Re: Nolanhack's Next Flick

It would be amazing if he just alternates between alienating sci-fi spy film and prestige movie....back and forth, back and forth...I, at least and most importantly, would be happy.

Re: Oppenheimer - Awards Speculation

THR starting its hate campaign... https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-features/killers-of-the-flower-moon-oppenheimer-backlash-1235791011/ id say HR makes a very good case FOR the directors and the movies, they are not the problem, people complain that Oppenheimer didnt show the Japanese...

Re: Nolanhack's Next Flick

I'm kind of fanboying about Philip K. Dick's UBIK, as well as 1984. I could even see him take on Dracula. Or Hamlet. No doubt it's gonna be something huge. There's no slowing down now, and I think he has no intention to. If he wins the Oscar and Oppie gets Best Picture, he's going to tell his crew,...

Re: 'Oppenheimer' Nolanfans User Reviews

My Thoughts: 10/10 Murphy's performance is perfection. This is the best acted film in Nolan's oeuvre. Actor rankings: 1. Murphy 2. Krumholtz 3. Damon (we take him granted, he is a great actor) 4. Downey 5. Affleck (fuckin' devil himself....holy shit) Liked everyone, Safdie's accented was fucked, his...

Re: Oppenheimer - Awards Speculation

I just need Nolan to win best Director and Murphy to win Actor (Sound design, editing, and score should also be locked). Best Picture winners are more often then not disappointments or become time capsules of trends. I don't want Oppenheimer to win Picture.

Re: Interviews - Cast and Crew

All of the IMDB cast has been updated, with all the actors and their roles up.

This one stood out...definitely hasn't been announced:

Re: TV Spots

https://youtu.be/CmklEFMmruQ This is great, since it came out the same day as the 5 min Trailer: So this tv spot has shots that are the same from as the 5 min one, but in reverse format: color shot of Oppie saying their where no Spys at los Almos at the table with Strauss, instead of the b&w; as we...

Re: Oppenheimer - Opening Look

Well it's a well-known historical fact that on April 14, 1954, when Roger Robb was interrogating Oppenheimer during the hearing, Oppenheimer stared at Robb and smote him, casting down the thunderbolts of Zeus upon the AEC lawyer, which of course Oppie acquired from the raid of Mount Olympus conduct...
