Re: Last Film You Watched? VI

The Philadelphia Story is one of the great romantic comedies of all-time. You have three of the greatest actors of the Golden Era (Stewart, Grant and Hepburn), an incredibly witty script, and a strong, independent female character (in an era when that isn't all that common). For my money, It Happen...

Re: Last Film You Watched? VI

I love The Philadelphia Story , Hepburn, Grant and Stewart are having so much fun, Hepburn's little sister is so funny, the scene when she plays piano makes me laugh out loud even on third or fourth viewing. If made today, the flaws of Grant would be a little different, but the message remains: tryi...

Re: TENET - General Information

Re: Netflix's The Crown

I find it hilarious that Emma Corrin was found while casting for Camilla was going on. Knowing that Amy Adams was reading as Rachel opposite actors auditioning for Batman, it feels strange that Nolan and Papsidera couldn't see they had one of the future great there and cast her the way Morgan and G...

Re: Don't Look Up (2020)

I hope this is a return to form, not another Vice ... I enjoyed Vice, if only to see great acting performances, and because McKay's films are always so much fun, but the emotional side of it didn't really work, which was a big letdown since I was very moved by Carell's character in The big short. M...

Also the few films are not released at the same time throughout the world, which doesn't help for an international forum. We still can't even assume that people who wander through the Entertainement section have seen Tenet.
