Well I haven’t got much idea about the classic movies, but I would like to mention quite a few of them which I still remember and runs in my mind……
Blade Runner, Die Hard, First Blood and The Elephant Man

Well I agree too, remake does not make sense at all. I suggest you better re consider about this again.
