Re: Nolanhack's Next Flick
I'll be hoping for Tenet 2 right up to the moment his next film is announced, but there's no wrong next project in my eyes, whatever he decides to do is going to be amazing. But the lord loves July! Of course, but hypothetically - if Nolan were to do another Tenet next, he would definitely move up o...

Re: Nolanhack's Next Flick
6.26.26 is just too perfect NOT to do a Tenet sequel. It's a summer palindrome date that lands on a Friday. It's fate

After all the snubs, it still doesn't feel real. So thrilled for Chris and the whole team!

I was thinking the same thing They have to let Nolan do the film speeches from here out, or just do them together side by side.redfirebird2008 wrote: ↑January 14th, 2024, 11:08 pmEmma’s speech for Best Picture was pretty rough. Hopefully it doesn’t hurt the movie’s chances for other awards.

Re: Oppenheimer - Awards Speculation
The list of actors included in Best ensemble is so reductive. Like how can Krumholtz or Clarke not be there ? Yeah, I know, it's all about billing order. I would like the enitre cast up to Remar, Thirlby and Blair to be there! Happy to see Quaid, Dastmalchian... were invited at the GG afterparty. S...

Re: Oppenheimer - General Information
I just can't fool myself into thinking it's something it's not. Wish I could, ha. Here's a very quick liquify of the rough shape it should've been. If Nolan had allowed DNEG to enhance just this one shot, it would've helped tremendously in my eyes.

Re: Oppenheimer - General Information
You have those two shots correct, I have no problem with that one. The thin/pointy shot is not the part you circled, it's the whole mushroom cloud. You can tell because at the bottom it's getting darker as it gets sucked up, not brighter as part of a larger cloud below. https://i.imgur.com/lZgcBNL.j...

Re: Oppenheimer - General Information
You can go to the very last frame of that shot and it still appears thin because the bottom is consistently wider than the top. You can call it nitpicky, but the reason it stands out so much to me is because the build up and execution of everything else in this scene is so damn good. https://i.imgur...
