Re: Inception's Title-Could It Give Away The Film

The scene where his kids call him at home, and how that scene looks like a dream scene (look at the background, it is night, then he ends up walking out and it is day all of a sudden). That scene can't be explained by any theory except that the entire thing was a dream. Why do you not consider it p...

Re: Fischer's Totem

Fischer wasn't trained that well against extraction. Otherwise he wouldn't have been so surprised when Cobb confronted him with the idea, that he is in a dream. He could also have a totem that you don't get to see. We also didn't see the totems from Yusuf, Saito and Eames. I got the idea that only ...

Re: Is Zimmer is trying to tell us something with movie scor

It was probably intentional, but it could have been a happy accident. The rhythm is a fairly common one, and the harmony is not there in the Zimmer version. Still, if it was an accident, it was one of the best accidents I've encountered for awhile. in a new york times article he said it was intenti...

Re: This is My Problem With Saito's Kicks

My theory about the snow fortress explosives is that they were planned for as a backup kick in case someone ended up yet another level down, which is basically what happens with Cobb, Fischer, Ariadne, and Saito. Fischer and Ariadne make the kick, but Cobb and Saito miss it.

Re: How Mal and Cobb get out of Limbo

i haven't heard anyone about the strange fact that Mal and Cobb are very old at a certain moment in their dreamworld, but that they're younger when they commit suicide on the train track. The flashback to the train track suicide happens before the reveal that they grew so old in Limbo. For storytel...

Re: Is Inception's Ending The Best Ever?

Good ending, but Memento had better.

One of my favorite movie ending was for Lost In Translation. Bill Murray whispers something to Scarlett Johansson... but what?? Beautiful and poignant.

Big tip of my old-man-hat for Citizen Cane as well.

Nothing earth-shattering here -- they're all just projections.

Re: Mal Declared Sane by Psychiatrists

Right or wrong, she understood the rules of the level she was on. The whole point of going to the psychiatrists was to be declared sane. It was likely a trivial matter for her -- just don't mention the whole "this is all a dream" thing.
