Re: The Kick
I think thats a completely valid point which jm has recently brought to my attention. Meaning it isn't quite a choice (I was going back to a previous view by accident), but just the point that you need to leave limbo while also having something that you're consciousness can grab onto. I'm going to ...
Re: The Kick
I think you're missing several points. Mal could have supposedly done so in her own dream (reality) but it was stated she couldn't do it without him because she loved him so much. They needed to do it together. This could be quite similar to Cobb in Limbo. He felt that she needed to know it wasn't ...

Re: My Theory on Cobb and the Ending
Ah but you see, I think Nolan is commenting on that. Why DO people care where Cobb is at the end of the movie? He's gotten over the guilt of his wife's death. He can see his kids. That journey is real. Why does it matter if the whole thing is a dream because the movie (which is already a fake reali...

Re: Dream A Little Bigger: A Guide To Understanding Inceptio
The part about Limbo is somewhat wrong as well. Limbo is not a state of mind but an actual location.

Re: "Missing" a kick? (spoiler)
Honestly the push-pull kick theory would explain why Arthur wasn't yanked back as well as Eames blowing up the fort. That's the only way to explain the movie without any holes. This however contradicts what is stated earlier in the movie but there will be a plothole following only the rules describ...

Re: The Kick
Limbo is most definitely level 4, meaning there is no level 5 and 6, etc. Mal and Cobb were experimenting with dream states and they kept going lower and lower until they reached limbo (on the shores of their subconscious) without understanding how time extends in every level...suggesting that even...
Re: The Kick
All I know is that there is a close correlation of some kind. I just can't say the numbers of that correlation. Where do you get close correlation from? It was a multiple of 20 at each level, and then Yusuf said "INFINITE." How do you think infinite is a close correlation to a multiple of 20? Infin...
Re: The Kick
Yusef really just blurts out “It could be Infinite. I don’t know”. The only one who does know what Limbo is, is Cobb. Nobody else has measure the time effect in Limbo so the time effect might be something simple such as the previous Level you were on or it could even vary. Nobody in the movie measu...
