Re: Nolanhack's Next Flick

Nolan wrote the script for Oppenheimer during the spring and summer of 2021, and it was officially announced as his next project in September later that year. So if he’s already in the process of writing something now, I wouldn’t be surprised if we get an announcement by the end of this summer. If i...

Re: Nolanhack's Next Flick

Here is an article from last year that says Nolan dropped out of The Prisoner years ago because he couldn’t quite “crack” the adaptation: https://variety.com/2023/film/features/christopher-nolan-oppenheimer-warner-bros-feud-next-project-1235782516/ So it wasn’t surprising that when it came time to m...

All we need is a name for this band.
Ludwig and the Oppenhomies:

Göransson - guitar
Lame - vocals
Murphy - drums
Hoyte - bass

Re: Oppenheimer - IMAX locations and info thread

Just drove 4.5 hours yesterday to see this at the Mall of Georgia (my second viewing, first viewing was at a Liemax). Definitely worth it, though it’s a smaller theater than I expected... maybe because I’m used to the size of the Bullock IMAX in Austin where I used to live and saw Dunkirk and Tenet....

Re: Matt Damon will play Lt. Gen. Leslie Groves

There’s some recent interview with Nolan (don’t remember which one) where he said that Damon added a line of dialogue to one of the late security hearing scenes that sort of “summarized” Groves’s relationship with Oppenheimer, but I can’t figure out what line it could be.

Anyone know or have a guess?

So which Göransson Nolan score do we all like more: Tenet or Oppenheimer?

The music being Göransson’s work is not a guarantee for it to be on the album. It’s not in the film.
Okay, it not being on the album makes sense if it's not in the film (haven't seen it yet). How disappointing...

I can't find the music that's used in the first full-length trailer. Is it not on the soundtrack, or did I miss it?
Not in it at all
Weird, I thought I remembered reading that the music from that trailer was Göransson...

Re: Oppenheimer - General Information

He already made his Bond movie with Tenet, and that's enough for me.

But I do wonder if he'll keep the pattern going and do another sci-fi next. I kind of hope not... I'd like him to do a straight horror already since several of his films have had horror elements (including Oppenheimer).
