Star Wars: Episode VII (2015)

There's no need to choose between having Solo return and also having the story center on new characters. Think of how Obi-Wan and Yoda were less central in the OT compared to the PT.

Kasdan could mean the death of Han Solo--he and Ford wanted to kill off the character in ROTJ IIRC.

Star Wars: Episode VII (2015)

I really think it's going to be Fincher. He has the SW pedigree, he was going to make 20,000 Leagues for Disney before all this (and even said he wanted it to be his ESB), and he's worked with Kathleen Kennedy before. Really sets him above everyone else.

Janus Greejatus, one of the Emperor's homies in ROTJ. Ahh! That's what I was guessing. Well, I think we'll know by Thanksgiving or New Years at the latest who the director is, now that they're focusing on two candidates. In fact, wouldn't be surprised if we got a leak by the end of this w...

Star Wars: Episode VII (2015)

Explain, please. A while ago starwars.com had this really awesome comp where you could write Databank entries for characters with no back-story, and the winner's submission would become the character's official history. I managed to get one through, and it was a particularly cool one, not just some...

Star Wars: Episode VII (2015)

I think he was talking about the quality of the film [" I’m not interested in the Simon West version of Star Wars."]. As for me, I "could care so less" how they market SW in terms of toys, other shows, etc... SW has been marketed in silly ways before, hence the Spaceballs parody--Star Wars the flame...
